Freelance writer formally trained in prose, nonfiction, journalistic writing, essay writing, scriptwriting, and poetry across 6 years. I have 4 years of experience as a copyeditor and writer, and 1 as a social media writer for public figures and luxury brand campaigns.
I am currently affiliated as an Associate Editor & Senior Writer with IAAS Music, a UK-based independent music magazine where I write reviews, interviews, feature articles, and cover live music. My work is global, though with a special focus on Singapore (where I'm based), Indonesia and South-East Asia.
I hold an International Baccalaureate diploma in Literary Arts from School of the Arts, Singapore, for which I obtained the highest possible score of 7.
As a literature lover, I also write book reviews.
I speak English natively, Bahasa Indonesia fluently, studied Mandarin Chinese in school, and am currently teaching myself a few languages online to better appreciate different cultures and music. Fun fact: I'm also an independent musician!
Dual-narrative poem exhibited by School of the Arts, Singapore, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore in the 2023 “And Worlds And Wonder” cultural heritage exhibition for Kampong Gelam. Also performed at the 2024 SOTA Awards Day.
